Alex Feltes

Alex is an environmental storyteller, content creator, and nature nerd based in San Diego, California.

She earned a degree in Conservation Biology from St. Lawrence University and a Master’s in Environmental Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, combining her passion for conservation with a love of storytelling.

She currently serves as the Digital Communications Specialist at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where she brings the wonders of the ocean to life through stories, content creation and more.

In her free time, you can find her snorkeling, hiking, camping, looking for cool bugs or simply sipping on espresso.
